The States of Consciousness Research Team at Johns Hopkins
needs your help. They are conducting an anonymous, web-based
research study to characterize experiences of personal divine
encounters with something that someone might call “God” (e.g., the God of your understanding), “Higher Power,” or “Ultimate Reality.”

If you’ve ever had such an experience, they would greatly appreciate it if you would take their survey. If you know of others who have ever had an experience of a personal divine encounter, please send them the link and encourage them to participate. This includes people who had such an experience long ago.

As you may know, their team has conducted survey and laboratory studies investigating spirituality, religion, and altered states of consciousness. This new survey is an important extension of their published and ongoing research on mystical experience, spiritual practice and spiritual transformation.

To participate please visit the following website: www.EncounteringTheDivine.org

Principal Investigator: Roland R. Griffiths, Ph.D. Protocol IRB00054696

Are you still accepting personal spiritual experiences? I've been taking what I call "writings" from the higher collective consciousness for 15 years now. Half have been handwritten in dozens of large journals, the other half was typed directly onto my laptop. All told, I have nearly three thousand writings. The few I've shared with others have been transformation to them. My wife and I use the wisdom and knowledge of these writings to guide our lives by. Presently, we run an inn and wolf sanctuary in the mountains of Montana north of Yellowstone Park.

Hi Thomas,

I believe that the Johns Hopkins study has now ended.

However, if you would like to submit an account of your experiences to the Religious Experience Research Centre in the UK you could contact Thomas Pitchford at t.pitchford@uwtsd.ac.uk
